Bet Big and Gain Small playing Craps
August 6th, 2019 by Gina

If you choose to use this scheme you need to have a very large amount of money and incredible discipline to go away when you realize a tiny success. For the purposes of this story, an example buy in of $2,000 is used.

The Horn Bet numbers are not always considered the "successful way to wager" and the horn bet itself carries a house advantage of over twelve percent.

All you are playing is $5 on the pass line and a single number from the horn. It does not matter if it is a "craps" or "yo" as long as you bet it constantly. The Yo is more popular with gamblers using this system for apparent reasons.

Buy in for two thousand dollars when you sit down at the table but put only five dollars on the passline and $1 on either the 2, three, 11, or 12. If it wins, excellent, if it loses press to two dollars. If it loses again, press to $4 and then to $8, then to sixteen dollars and following that add a $1.00 each subsequent wager. Each instance you do not win, bet the previous value plus another dollar.

Adopting this approach, if for instance after 15 rolls, the number you bet on (11) has not been tosses, you surely should walk away. Although, this is what might happen.

On the tenth roll, you have a sum of one hundred and twenty six dollars in the game and the YO finally hits, you win three hundred and fifteen dollars with a profit of one hundred and eighty nine dollars. Now is a perfect time to step away as it’s higher than what you entered the game with.

If the YO does not hit until the 20th toss, you will have a complete wager of $391 and because your current action is at $31, you earn $465 with your take being $74.

As you can see, adopting this scheme with only a one dollar "press," your profit margin becomes tinier the longer you wager on without hitting. That is why you should go away once you have won or you have to wager a "full press" once more and then carry on with the one dollar mark up with each roll.

Crunch some numbers at home before you try this so you are very familiar at when this approach becomes a losing adventure instead of a profitable one.
