Bet A Lot and Earn A Bit playing Craps
June 17th, 2024 by Gina

If you consider using this system you need to have a very big pocket book and amazing fortitude to walk away when you earn a small win. For the benefit of this story, an example buy in of $2,000 is used.

The Horn Bet numbers are surely not considered the "successful way to compete" and the horn bet itself has a house edge of over 12 %.

All you are playing is five dollars on the pass line and a single number from the horn. It does not matter if it is a "craps" or "yo" as long as you play it always. The Yo is more established with gamblers using this scheme for obvious reasons.

Buy in for two thousand dollars when you join the table but only put five dollars on the passline and one dollar on one of the two, three, eleven, or twelve. If it wins, excellent, if it loses press to $2. If it does not win again, press to $4 and then to eight dollars, then to sixteen dollars and after that add a one dollar each subsequent bet. Each instance you do not win, bet the last wager plus a further dollar.

Using this system, if for instance after 15 tosses, the number you bet on (11) hasn’t been thrown, you likely should march away. Although, this is what could develop.

On the 10th roll, you have a sum of one hundred and twenty six dollars in the game and the YO finally hits, you gain three hundred and fifteen dollars with a take of one hundred and eighty nine dollars. Now is a great time to go away as it’s more than what you joined the table with.

If the YO doesn’t hit until the 20th roll, you will have a complete investment of $391 and seeing as current wager is at $31, you amass $465 with your gain being $74.

As you can see, using this approach with only a one dollar "press," your take becomes smaller the longer you play on without attaining a win. That is why you should walk away after a win or you must bet a "full press" once again and then carry on with the one dollar increase with each hand.

Carefully go over the numbers before you try this so you are very familiar at when this system becomes a losing affair instead of a profitable one.
